I love how this play has made it necessary for me to find and read articles with such compelling headlines as "I HAD SEX WITH MY BROTHER BUT DON'T FEEL GUILTY." I just melted for a while in the sun, which was super lovely.

‘Tis Pity going v well- lines too. Even reduced to crying in a couple of scenes on Sun; powerful stuff. Even if it is incest. This morning: Driving home from Alex's, while driving started typing in postcode of next place into my Sat Nav. Looked up. Massive blue car filling the windscreen. I started screaming, did not stop through collision that sent me spinning across the road, both right-hand windows smashing, both air bags deploying. Officially going mad. Nearly had a nervous breakdown today when I got a letter marked RADA. I remind you: if you're in, it's a phonecall, if you're in reserve or not in, it's a letter. AM SO TIIIIIIRED. Act 1 was not super duper but everybody felt it and proceeded to pick up the pace and energy. Watched first half of Act 2 for the first time, it's terrific. And it seemed to stay that way. Act 3, it's never felt so real. I cried. And cried. Hysteria reached such a crazy pitch. We were all in costume too, so that helped. But this ( Read more... )
